This is a 24 year old patient who is 6’0 and 212 lbs from Westchester, NY. He had been enduring a condition called Gynecomastia, which occurs due to an excess development of mammary tissue underneath the male breast resulting in an enlargement. The patient began to feel self-conscious about the appearance of his chest and did not feel comfortable removing his shirt in public. He consulted with Dr. Blau, not only impressed by the success of the before and after photos offered on the website, but also upon learning that over 50% of Dr. Blau’s practice is dedicated to the correction of Gynecomastia and that Dr. Blau has developed his own method of Gynecomastia surgery called the “Natural Blend Technique.” The patient underwent male breast reduction surgery, excising the mammary tissue, followed by a small amount of liposuction. The incision is only an inch in diameter and discreet, not noticeable even without a shirt. The patient is extremely happy with the results and no longer feels embarrassed to remove his shirt in public.
