This 18-year-old teenager from Dutchess County, NY decided to have male breast reduction surgery (gynecomastia surgery) when social situations started to cause him embarrassment because of his enlarged breasts. He found out that his condition affected 30 to 60 percent of teenage males. He was referred to Dr. Blau who is a board certified plastic surgeon and a diplomat of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons with over twenty years experience. During the procedure, the head and tail of the glandular tissue was excised. The incision is hidden in an inconspicuous area underneath the areola and it does not show even when this patient removes his shirt.
