This 31 year old, 5’11” and 99 kg patient made the long trip from Bangkok, Thailand to New York to seek the expertise of Dr. Blau. The patient felt self conscious about a condition he had been called Puffy Nipples, or Puffy Nipple Areola Complex, a condition in which the areola has a swollen appearance due to the formation of excess tissue behind the breast. The patient had heard that Dr. Mordcai Blau, board certified plastic surgeon with over 20 years experience, is held in high esteem worldwide for his expertise in the subject of Gynecomastia, and the patient was further impressed that Dr. Blau had developed his own procedure for the correction of this condition called the “natural blend technique.” The Gynecomastia (male breast reduction) surgery involved the excision of mammory tissue located behind the breast.
